Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim said in his pre-season press conference ahead of their trip to Brentford (May 4). That defender Noussair Mazraoui, who was injured in the Europa League yesterday. Will not be at risk for other key players at the Gtech Community Stadium.

United beat Athletic Bilbao 3-0 at San Mames in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final. โปรโมชั่น ufabet  So the return leg at Old Trafford (May 8) should be a bit easier. But it’s still a matter of focus as it gives them a chance to secure a Champions League spot next season if they win the trophy.

That makes the visit of the ‘Bees’ to London ‘Red Devils’ look like a second team. And they have to follow Mazraoui’s condition, who did not finish the game in the Basque region.

“First of all, the players who are at risk of injury will not play against Brentford.” Amorim said.

“Don’t worry about anything else.”

“We need to separate the high-risk players and then assess them on Friday morning. And wait until Saturday to see who is in the best shape to start.”

“We have to be extra careful because we are Manchester United. A team that cannot go on the pitch without the intention of winning the game.”

“The process will be like that. It might be a bit difficult. But we have gone through a lot this season.”

“One more time won’t hurt. Let’s see.”

The position that Amorim is most worried about is probably right wing-back because the Moroccan defender suffered a minor injury on Thursday. Diogo Dalot has been out injured for the rest of the season. So he will have to think carefully about who he will start this weekend.

The 40-year-old added.

“There are some positions where there are not many options.”

“For example, Mazraoui could not play. He kicked to his limit and got injured.”

“So we have to deal with that and prepare for the competitors that are coming into their own.”

“We must always be responsible for the results. But if you ask about the actual work, our position is clear, focusing on preserving the players’ bodies. And trying to choose the importance of the competition.”

“It’s not good to say that, but we need to understand the context.”

Amad Diallo and Matthijs de Ligt were substitutes for the trip to Bilbao and are therefore in contention to start against Brentford. As is goalkeeper Altay Bayindir.

The injured group includes Jonny Evans, Aiden Heaven, Lisandro Martinez, Joshua Zirkzee and Toby Collyer.
